SpaceX has moved $153 million in Bitcoin, its first crypto campaign in three years. The move was identified by blockchain analytics company Arkham.

The wallet tied to SpaceX, the Alon Musk’s Space Exploration Company, moved more than 1,300 Bitcoin (BTC) to a new address worth around $153 million on Tuesday, Arkham Intelligence Data shows. This is my first chain activity from my wallet in three years.

The SpaceX sign wallet is above 6,900 BTC, valued at approximately $810 million at its current market price.
The motivation behind the move is unknown, but it is possible that the wallet owner is reorganizing the storage infrastructure rather than preparing for liquidation.
As of mid-2025, Tesla and SpaceX own around $2 billion in Bitcoin, Arkham previously reported. Tesla currently holds around 11,509 BTC, according to the company’s first quarter revenue report.
Companies acquire Bitcoin at an average price of nearly $32,000 per unit, and hold these positions for the long term, currently receiving nearly $1.5 billion of unrealized benefits.

Bitcoin has recently surged to a new all-time high of over $122,800, prompting Satoshi Elves to cash in at 80,000 BTC. At the time of reporting, the assets were trading above $117,000, Coingecko data shows.
